Selling Fees
When your item sells, MereMart collects the amount paid by the buyer, which includes the item price and any delivery, gift wrap, or other charges.
Referral Fees
Sellers pay a referral fee on each item sold. Items in some categories have a per-item minimum referral fee as listed below. Sellers pay the greater of the referral fee or the per-item minimum referral fee. For all products, MereMart deducts the applicable referral fee percentage calculated on the total sales price, excluding any taxes calculated through MereMart tax calculation services. The total sales price includes the item price and any delivery or gift-wrapping charges.
Finding the Fee Category of a Product
Enter the UI or MMIN of the product into the Search box.
Click the value in the Estimated Fees per Unit Sold column.
Click the info icon next to the Referral Fee value to view the fee category of the product.
Referral fees vary by category, as listed below. Sellers who use Fulfillment by MereMart can refer to FBA features and fees. Prior approval may be required to offer products in certain categories. For more information, visit Categories and Products that Require Approval.

Promotional Referral Fee Reductions
Kitchen and Small Appliances: The referral fee will be decreased from 13% to 4.5% for FBA/MFN on Dyson, LG, and Xiaomi brands from August 31, 2024, to October 30, 2024
Toys: The referral fee will be decreased from 13% to 9.5% for FBA/MFN on all brands from August 31, 2024, to October 30, 2024
Personal Care Appliances: The referral fee will be decreased from 15% to 10% for products with total sales prices greater than 50 AED for FBA/MFN on all brands from August 31, 2024, to October 30, 2024
Refund Administration Fee
If you refund a customer for an order for which you have already received payment, MereMart will refund you the amount of the referral fee you paid for the item(s), minus the applicable Refund Administration Fee, which is the lesser of 15 AED or 20% of the applicable referral fee.
Example
If you refund a customer the 10.00 AED total sales price of an item in a category with a 15% referral fee, your Refund Administration Fee will be 0.30 AED (10.00 AED x 15% referral fee = 1.50 AED). More details on Refund Credits and Administration Fees can be found in our detailed explainer.

Accurate Descriptions: Ensure all product listings are accurate, detailed, and up-to-date. This includes product titles, descriptions, images, prices, and availability.
Prohibited Items: Do not list items that are illegal, counterfeit, or otherwise prohibited by MereMart policies.
Categories and Tags: List items in the most appropriate categories and use relevant tags to ensure proper indexing and customer searchability.
2. Pricing and Promotions
Fair Pricing: Set prices that are fair and in accordance with market value. Avoid price gouging or misleading pricing strategies.
Discounts and Offers: Clearly state the terms and conditions of any promotions or discounts. Ensure these offers are genuine and honored as advertised.
3. Order Fulfillment
Timely Shipping: Process and ship orders within the stated time frame. Provide tracking information to customers promptly.
Stock Management: Keep inventory levels updated to avoid overselling. Communicate promptly with customers if there are any stock issues.
Packaging: Ensure products are securely and appropriately packaged to avoid damage during transit.
4. Customer Service
Communication: Respond to customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally within 24 hours.
Returns and Refunds: Honor MereMart's return and refund policies. Process returns and refunds promptly and communicate clearly with the customer throughout the process.
5. Compliance and Reporting
Legal Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to selling products online.
Reporting Issues: Report any suspicious activities or policy violations to MereMart immediately.
Seller Code of Conduct
Accurate Information
Provide Accurate Information: Provide accurate information to MereMart and customers at all times. Use a business name that accurately identifies your business and list your products in the correct category.
Update Information: Update any information that changes promptly to avoid misinformation.
Acting Fairly
Fair Practices: Act fairly and not misuse MereMart’s features or services. This includes not providing misleading information, manipulating sales ranks, or damaging other sellers.
Prohibited Activities: Do not engage in unfair activities such as:
Providing misleading or inappropriate information.
Manipulating sales rank (e.g., fake orders).
Increasing the price of a product after an order is confirmed.
Artificially inflating web traffic.
Allowing others to violate MereMart’s policies on your behalf.
Ratings, Feedback, and Reviews
Honest Reviews: Do not attempt to influence or inflate customers’ ratings, feedback, and reviews.
Prohibited Actions: Avoid activities such as:
Paying for or offering incentives for reviews.
Asking for only positive reviews or to remove/change reviews.
Soliciting reviews only from customers with positive experiences.
Reviewing your own products or competitors’ products.
Communications
Appropriate Messaging: Do not send unsolicited or inappropriate messages. All customer communications must be through Buyer-Seller Messaging and be necessary for fulfilling orders or providing customer service. Marketing communications are prohibited.
Customer Information
Use of Information: Use customer information such as addresses or phone numbers only for fulfilling orders. Delete customer information after order processing and do not share it with third parties.
Circumventing the Sales Process
No Circumvention: Do not attempt to circumvent the MereMart sales process or divert customers to another website. Do not provide links or messages prompting users to visit external websites or complete transactions elsewhere.
Multiple Selling Accounts on MereMart
Single Account Policy: Maintain only one Seller Central account for each marketplace unless there is a legitimate business need for multiple accounts and all accounts are in good standing. Legitimate reasons include:
Owning multiple brands with separate businesses.
Manufacturing products for distinct companies.
Participation in a MereMart program requiring separate accounts.
Filing Infringement Notices as an Agent or Brand Protection Agency
Authorized Agents: MereMart accepts submissions from authorized brand protection agencies or agents but does not allow sellers with active accounts to file infringement notices as agents if it benefits their own selling account.
Compliance with Policies
Adherence to Policies: Adhere to all MereMart policies. Violating the Code of Conduct or any other MereMart policies may result in actions against your account, such as cancellation of listings, suspension, forfeiture of payments, and removal of selling privileges.
